Grooming
Future World Leaders (GFWL) is a non-profit 501 c 3 corporation that
believes that youth and young adults can make better career choices
by exposing them to multiple industries before they graduate from
high school and college.
With the exposure they get hands on training with
professional mentors who are working in the particular area, or
professionals who have had many years of experience in that area. More

Leadership
Development: Activities During Fall 2002
Another
objective of GFWL is to encourage and teach leadership skills to
youth and young adults. Our youth participated in the annual One
Root Festival in Roseville, California (Sept. 2002).
The GFWL youth advisors teamed with other youth from the
local high school and were positioned to manage the One Root Youth
Village. The president
of GFWL, Shirley Smith coordinates the Youth Village annually for
the One Root Festival. More...

Missions:
Activities
During the Summer 2002
GFWL believes that grooming youth to become world leaders
requires travel to other countries.
We do not travel just to travel, but we reach out to other
youth who are less fortunate than we are.
So this summer (June 2002) our president Shirley Smith went
ahead of the youth to establish a team of caring adults in South
Africa who will carry the vision of GFWL as Grooming Future World
Leaders-South Africa. More...

We
did a lot on a very very small budget, but we need your financial
assistance desperately in order to accomplish three big goals:
1)
A CISCO academy for the Sacramento Area 2002/2003 (that seats 20
youth/young adults)
2)
Travel expenses for youth and young adult advisors to visit their
sister organization/ youth advisors in South Africa
3)
A Youth Summit within the Sacramento Area with objectives similar
to the One Root Youth Village 2002 and the GFWL Theme:
