I photographed flowers because they represent growth and the development of new life. A flower needs to be nurtured to survive its life span no matter how short or long it maybe. To see a healthy flower means someone cared enough to place it in the light for nourishment. There is something sad about seeing a flower in the darkness without any light for nourishment and no one can see its beautiful colors.
