A FREQUENT GET TOGETHER OF YOUNG ADULTS OF ALL NATIONS TO COMMUNICATE GET TO KNOW PEOPLE OF ALL NATIONS (LEARN FROM EACH OTHER)

Key topic of discussion for nations:  birthdays and honor for individuals.  Ben from France, Felice from Malaysia, and Nidhi from India came with birthday celebration in mind for hostess:  Shirley.  A great dinner with chicken wings, green salad, and sweet potatoes.  For dessert a wonderful cake from a Korean bakery.

We missed the Christian concert that was at the park in Jonesboro since we got started a little late.  Ben blessed us by serving  all of us.  we simply had to receive our meal.  That was a great experience.



In all cultures ladies do not like to tell their age.  So everyone knows to choose "21 with a question mark" is the best way to show age on a birthday cake.  The cake was very delicious with raw fruit and cooked fruit on the top.

We congratulate Felice who will be working on co-op  in South Carolina for the next 6 months.  So one of the gifts was a lovely memories framed picture of the June get together.  We will miss Felice , but keep in touch!


Last meeting was  a more formal meal atmoshpere, however the birthday celebration  was more casual including the meal.


Another birthday, another year with great company!


Nidhi brought gifts from New Delhi, India.  We will have the next meeting in Atlanta and Nidhi is going to teach Shirley how to use public transportation in Atlanta!

We had a potluck with a vietnamese dessert compliments of Benjamin from France, Beef dish compliments of Andrew from Singapore, a curry dish compliments of Felice from Malaysia, fried chicken, turnip greens compliments of Shirley (USA-Georgia), and apple pie compliments of Christopher (USA-California).
