BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Theartris O. Ervin is the CFO & CTO of  Grooming Future World Leaders Inc. She is a graduate of Mississippi Sate University and Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.  As well, she has traveled much in Europe and Asia in her career with Hewlett Packard and Intel Corporations. An HP Star and HP Gold Key Award recipient as strategic planning management, product marketing,
E-Learning consultant,  market analysis manager,
and research director. 







Gloria Gibson, CPA

Gloria is a Taxpayer Education and Communications Specialist with the Internal Revenue Service.  She serves in a leadership role in  the annual government small business fair co-sponsored by federal, state, and local agencies.

Prior to the IRS she worked for United gas Pipeline Co for multiple years.  She has served in various "give back to the community" roles as President of NABA (Houston, Tx. Chapter). Gloria graduated from Mississippi State University with a BS and University of Houston with MBA.

Shirley F. Smith is the founder and CEO of Grooming Future World Leaders Inc.  She is the mom of three sons Ryan, Christopher, and Brandon, who brought home friends of all nations daily. She has become very sensitive to the needs of single parents youth and young adults (She became a single parent when her youngest son was less than 2 years old). She has volunteered over 20 years within non-profit organizations in California and Georgia either teaching or mentoring youth and young adults.  Shirley is a graduate of Mississippi State University, valedictorian of her Faith Alive Bible College Class in Sacramento 2003, participant in the Marilyn Hickey International Womens Mentoring Clinics in years 2000 & 2002, and licensed by Pastor Phillip Goudeaux as a Minister of the Gospel in 2002. As well, Shirley has sat under the teachings of Pastors Dick and Carla Bernal at Jubilee Christian Center in San Jose, Dr. Juanita Bynum Atlanta, Georgia, and currently a member of Daystar International (Atlanta, Ga.) where Pastors Johnny and Elizabeth Enlow are sherperds.

Shirley has traveled to over 20 countries (7 continents) as a professional global market development manager for Hewlett Packard Co.  She was responsible for global major account loyalty programs, global communication strategies, business continuity planning, sales development and compensation strategies.  As well, she co-developed the MENtor Program for youth with Hewlett Packard employees as the mentors.  This program won several awards for the company.  As well, she was awarded several times the HP Star Award earned by the top performing 10% of the employees in the corporation for her contributions as programs developer and manager.

Shirley has taught youth and adults at some of the mega size churches for over 16 years.  Her love for the nations started in 1989-1994 while teaching in children's church with over 100 nations represented in the class room weekly.  This love for the nations grew with the extensive worldwide travel during her career with Hewlett Packard.

Shirley co-developed the "Youth Village" within the One Root Festival that was held as a major community event to embrace and educate about multiple cultures of many nations.  This event drew more than 10000 people annually for approximately 10 years in Roseville, California.  The Youth Village was supported by over 100 volunteers from Fortune 500 corporations, 10 or more high schools and 4 or more colleges in the surrounding area.

Dr Danny Howard is a graduate of Mississippi State University, in Aerospace Engineering, and a graduate of California Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering.  He is married and has one daughter.  Danny has many years of mentoring experience with youth and young adults.  He is viewed as a very positive role model in Mississippi and California within the local communities  where he gives back his time and talents. His military experiences include:  Assistance Operation Officer, Battalion Fire Direction Officer, Executive Officer, and Fire Direction Officer.
